Women are amazing! Our club recently gave $1400 to four very deserving local women. Kelly Wilson is working on her bachelor's in social sciences through WSU. Nicole Aichelle makes a difference through her volunteer service. Karen Scott is pursuing a master of studies in international human rights law. Holly Howard makes a difference in women and girls lives through health care.

Our club members make a difference too. Here are some of their comments on what Soroptimist and belonging to this international service organization means to them.

"I enjoy working with other women to raise funds; and we have fun at the same time. It is a great group of women and I feel like I am making a difference. I love that our major link is with our local Helpline women's shelter (STEP)."

"With so many needs in our world, how do we make any difference? Where do we begin? For me, Soroptimist offers a clear way to do something for people in a real and tangible way."
